WILLYS TRUCK
FCA plans to launch a Jeep Wrangler Pickup truck in 2020. I’ve always loved the Jeep Brand as it has such rich American heritage and recognizable iconography. Modern Truck construction is very similar to 60 years ago whereas car construction has Drastically changed. With some modern suspension, and a little technology, an old truck can be very comparable to a modern specimen. I also love the idea to use existing materials if possible and ‘upcycle’ to create something with modern value. The Willys truck hearkens back to simply times, robust construction, and the beginning of an American Icon. This vehicle would be constructed from a Willys Wagon and Pickup grafted together.
